Hi, I’m Allie — the heart and hands behind Brierley Hollow.

Born and raised in Australia, I’m a passionate maker, a mum of four amazing kids, a Grammy, and the proud wife of an incredibly supportive husband. Creativity has always been a guiding force in my life — it’s how I express myself, heal, and connect with the world around me.

At my core, I’m a crocheter. There’s something so grounding and joyful about working yarn through my fingers and watching a creation come to life, one stitch at a time. But my creativity doesn’t stop there — I also explore the world of mixed media painting, crafting expressive, emotive pieces that speak from the soul.

One of the most meaningful parts of my journey is the creation of The Florasyls — whimsical, flower-like beings born from brush, paint, and emotion. These characters represent different facets of my life, growth, and healing. Brierley Hollow is their home, and through them, I share my story in a deeply personal and imaginative way.

Before launching into the creative world full-time, I worked in the veterinary industry as a vet nurse — a chapter of my life that deeply shaped my love for animals. That passion still shines through in my work today. Many of my crochet creations are animal-inspired, and I also enjoy 3D printing adorable animal keychains I call Jiggle Pets — little wobbly companions full of charm and character.

Brierley Hollow isn’t just a business — it’s a personal haven. A place where creativity, storytelling, and emotion meet. Every piece I make is crafted with intention, inspired by the things I love most: animals, nature, imagination, and meaningful connection.
